The La Mesa Village Association’s 11th annual Holiday in the Village takes over La Mesa Blvd. between Spring Street and 4th Street in downtown La Mesa on Saturday, December 12, 2026, from noon to 9pm.
More than 100 vendors line the street offering art, home décor, handcrafted items, jewelry, clothing, food, and more, alongside the shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars of La Mesa Village. A Kids Shopping Program lets children 10 and under check off their own holiday lists at 50+ participating vendors offering items for $5 or less.
Other holiday traditions include an Elf Scavenger Hunt, in which families search for 12 elves hidden in storefronts along La Mesa Blvd. for a chance to win an elf of their own, plus a Santa nook, a Mrs. Claus reading nook, and other festive activities.
